팔괘(八卦)의 다섯 번째 괘(卦)

진(震)은 우(雨)와 진(辰)의 합성어다

우뢰가 쳐서 사물을 진동시키는 것을 의미한다

진괘는 아래에 있는 양기가 지면(地面)의 음기를 뚫고 나오는 모습을 본뜬 것이다.

震卦

震(Zhèn) is 5th hexagram in I Ching.

震is formed with meaning of thunder(雨) above and the arousing(辰) below.

This hexagram gives the intimation of ease and development.

When the movement comes, it will be found looking out with apprehension. This feeling of dread leads to happiness.
